This letter is
written to recognize and acknowledge the professional and
quality work preformed by Portugal Homes Inc., of Strathroy.
Portugal Homes built our custom home near Glencoe during the
Summer of 2000.
We write this letter with enthusiasm and gratitude to Portugal
Homes. The team of Manuel and Maria De Sousa made building our
home a breeze. Most people say they would never do it again,
but we would do it again, as everything went like clockwork.
After our initial meeting the the De Sousa's, we knew we had
found our builders. We found them professional, knowledgeable
and dedicated to our project. Time was never a factor. They
took as much time with us as we needed, and sometimes it was
many hours, as we were very green at what it meant to build a
house. The De Sousa's helped us gather our ideas,
requirements and desires and turn them into a home, which we
had wanted, and which fit our budget. We always had options in
all areas of the project, so we could tailor our desires with
our budget. The De Sousa's were always available to accompany
us if we needed their help in making any decisions in any
phase of the project.
We were at the job site daily, but we never seemed to bother
anyone. Everyone took time to explain what he or she was doing
and to answer any of our questions. Manuel was personally on
site almost daily and it was very comforting to know that he
was overseeing all phases of the project.
We found the building process extremely easy because:
- Someone was always available for questions, and returned all
our calls promptly.
- Our numerous changes in desires never seemed to create a
problem.
- Having Manuel on the site to handle and problems was
comforting (very few problems)
- Job site was kept clean and organized which was a concern of
ours since we maintained the rest of the property daily (10
acres)
- Project was always on schedule
- Well pleased with work of sub trades
-The help of the interior decorator was invaluable
- Manuel offered his help and expertise on many aesthetic
changes throughout the construction
- The terminal cleaning left the house beautiful
Overall, we were extremely pleased and satisfied to have had
Portugal Homes build our beautiful dream home. We have
received numerous compliments from our friends and neighbours.
We moved into our home knowing that the De Sousa's are proud
of their excellent workmanship and we know we have made two
new friends for life.
We would recommend Portugal Homes as an expert builder of
custom homes and would be proud to show the De Sousa's
workmanship to anyone, anytime - we are just a call away.
